Ok, so, about 3 days ago, I had come home from my dance class, I turned on my computer, and went straight to Facebook, like always, and clicked the login button… And to my shock! I get a message saying that my account has been disabled, and If I had any questions to please refer to the help section. I immediately became furious! So I tried again to login, but no, same deal. I went to the help section that had been referred, and I was given an e-mail to contact if I felt my account had been disabled in error. I e-mailed them, telling them I knew why my account has been disabled, which was because I had been adding friends too quickly. The next day, I hadn’t received a reply, so I e-mailed again, this time to customer service… Which was yesterday. And I still haven’t gotten a reply. I’m extremely unhappy with all this. I use Facebook for connecting with so many people, and some of whom I have no other way of contacting!
I think, and apparently I’m not alone in this, that Facebook is too harsh when it comes to things like the terms under which they disable user’s accounts. It’s not fair, and in fact abusive to disable someone’s account, unless they’re a spammer.
So I hope Facebook will re-enable my account promptly, and allow me to continue to connect with my friends.
